Learning bass guitar takes WORK!

Now I know I might of just lost most of you by saying that but it’s the truth.

Rule #1 For Bass Success

Practice EVERY day. Yes it’s simple but I bet 99% of the people reading this don’t do it.

Like everything in life you only get out what you put in and if you are not prepared to spend some time practicing then forget it. Put your bass for sale on eBay and go back to sitting in front of the TV like a vegetable.

You absolutely have to commit to at least 15 minutes a day and work up to 30 minutes.

Your bass practice has to become a habit. It has to become a part of you and your life.

Follow this one simple tip and I guarantee you will see great results with your bass playing.

Now I know how tough this can sometimes be and there will be days when life gets in the way, but you have to try. You have to do your best to pick your bass up, tune it and get busy.

Rule #2 For Bass Success

Practicing not playing…

When you do pick up your bass to practice, make sure that you do actually practice.

Playing things you already know don’t count. Sure they are fun and useful but you need to be learning something new.

If you switch your bass practice to always trying to learn something new you will be amazed after just a week.

It’s the simple things in life that get the biggest results…

Which leads us perfectly into the third and final rule for bass success today

Rule #3 For Bass Success

Have a plan of what you are going to practice. It’s a good idea to plan out each week what you are going to cover each day. Planning the next day is also fine but having a road-map for the week ahead will allow you to stay focused and on track.

The reason why many players get stuck in a rut is because they are not learning anything new. The reason they never learn new things is because they never plan too.

At the end of the day it is up to you. You can go through life floating on the breeze in which ever way the wind takes you or you can plan out and achieve your goal and learn bass guitar.

The choice is yours…
