There is a lot of free information online about how to play bass and that has it’s good and bad sides. With tips on how to learn to play bass online scatter all over the Internet, by the time you have found what you we looking for a few hours of slipped by.
Places like YouTube and other sites have become popular and there are some good videos to be found. The trouble is you can jump randomly from one to the next. Simply watching someone else play is not going to get you anywhere very fast. Just like offline learning, learning online require you to pick up your bass guitar and get stuck in.
