Kurt Cobain Bass Guitar Auction happened today June 23rd 2009. The bass guitar was placed into auction in Christie’s pop and rock memorabilia sale in New York. The Sears model bass guitar played by Nirvana front man Kurt Cobain sold at auction for a huge $43,750.
The bass guitar was one of the highlights of the auction that day, which also featured items from the Beatles, AC DC, Bob Dylan and more. The Kurt Cobain bass guitar came complete with a certificate of authenticity, which claims the intrument, was used to record early demos.
