Here is a collection of 5 easy beginner bass songs. These are all songs that are great if you are just getting started on bass guitar. Some of them are slightly more difficult than others.
when starting out on bass it can be tough to know which songs to learn first. Often you have an idea of songs you want to play but when you go to learn them you find they are currently beyond your skills level.
These songs are all pretty simple if you already know how to pluck and fret notes on your bass guitar.
It’s a good idea to just take your time with them and have fun playing them. So here they are, my top 5 beginner bass songs:
Beastie Boys – Fight For Your Right (To Party)
Green Day – Brain Stew
Radiohead – Creep
America – A Horse with No Name

and then you just move everything down one string and repeat. That’s the only bit I learned.
Oh and by the way, Zombie by The Cranberries is an easy song. It was the first one I played

“sharp dressed man” by ZZ Top, and “Bad Moon Rising” by CCR are pretty easy songs on bass. Also, “With or Without You” by U2.
“Blitzkrieg Bop” is one of the easiest bass/guitar songs I know of. Also “Seven Nation Army”, even though it’s only played on a guitar with a pedal.

Baba O’Riley by The Who is pretty easy! i’m still a beginner but that was the first song I learnt, and if I can do it then anyone can! haha :L
Sunshine of Your Love? of course I don’t know much bout what I’m talking about, I just picked up this bass and that’s the song i tried to play, and it seems simple.
Stand by me is a very simple song
I found ” Money ” by Pink Floyd easy and also Highway to hell by AC/DC

Stevie Wonder – I Wish is great fun to learn…the bassline is quite relentless but you can get quite decent at it quite quickly

Hey Jodie, that’s the first part (basically) of “woo hoo” by the 5, 6, 7, 8′s. It’s played with a guitar in the song but boy it’s a fun bass tune. I started playing your little diddy and it reminded me woo hoo, which I’ve been playing for the last 20 minutes
“Let It Be” by The Beatles, was the first one i learned, and i got it perfect within an hour!
